We are two teachers who have recently left the UK eduction system in search of sunshine and a better quality of life and we found it….in the Seychelles. One rainy Sunday evening we saw a job advert on TES, applied with little hope of an interview but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Within no time at all we’d both secured jobs at the same school and started our journey involving packing or selling all our belongs, sorting medicals and visas and heading 7° south of the equator to start our new lives on a tropical island in paradise.

This blog is, essentially, to share our adventure – how to find the jobs in paradise, what the reality is like, and pictures of the nice beaches that are 5 minutes walk from our front door. And yes, that photo is real – no photo shop needed in here!
